The bedroom is the teens private area of the house and they usually spend most of their time in it, as you probably know. These days they are equipped with TV, laptop, and cell phone. Only when they are hungry, will they come out. Before purchasing their bedroom furniture, try to spend some time with them to choose what type of bedroom furniture they would be happy with. By purchasing a desk, or at least a computer table, it will ensure that your teen has a place to accomplish school work. A trunk is a great item as it can serve as a mini table and provide storage.
While doing all this, make sure it fulfills your teen wishes, of course. This part can sometimes be most difficult. They might not be interested in choosing complete sets, even though there are many of them available, so an option is to select each piece to put together a room. This is ok, just try to purchase good pieces so maybe they will last them through their college years! And remeber, if they truly desire zebra decor, go for it!
